Spring 2021 Romance Workshop with Farrah Rochon
Heart of Carolina Romance Writers is incredibly pleased to welcome USA Today Bestselling author of The Boyfriend Project, Farrah Rochon, as the main speaker of their 2021 Spring Conference. Farrah hails from a small town just west of New Orleans. She has garnered much acclaim for her Holmes Brothers and New York Sabers series. When she is not writing in her favorite coffee shop, Farrah spends most of her time reading, cooking, traveling the world, visiting Walt Disney World, and catching her favorite Broadway shows.
Farrah will be presenting two workshops to our members and guests:
Using Psychology to Create Memorable Characters
Join USA Today Bestselling author Farrah Rochon on a deep dive into creating characters using various methods rooted in psychology, including characterization with the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and how to apply it to fiction writing.
For Serious Plotters Only: How to go from an idea to a fully-developed plot before you ever type Chapter One.
Self-professed obsessive plotter Farrah Rochon will take you through a hands-on demonstration of her step-by-step method for plotting. Topics to be covered include brainstorming with purpose, understanding various story-structure methods, and storyboarding.
Registration is $40 for HCRW members, and $50 for non-members.
